Villa Pascal Theatre is an intimate, multi-cultural venue offering live entertainment by local and international performers. Discerning music and theatre lovers can bring a picnic basket (wine and snacks) and enjoy a unique theatre experience – the Cape’s only theatre in a house. The theatre is situated in the heart of Durbanville, close to the wine route and the Durbanville Golf Club. The venue opened in August 2003 and is owned by French chanteuse Danièle Pascal and Eugène Lebreton. Villa Pascal is a very popular entertainment destination and tourist attraction. A unique rendezvous!

The concept of the theatre started after Daniele and Eugene arranged a small dinner party with some friends at the house.

We are very committed to keep the Arts Alive in Durbanville, and provide a bridge between commerce and culture. We realized the growing demand for quality entertainment in the Durbanville area and offer a mosaic of entertainment to all age groups.

We are also dedicated to train and launch new entertainers and promote local talent. These young artists have already successfully been integrated into our mainstream events. We have Open Mic Sessions as a platform for emerging entertainers of all genres, a monthly Jazz Lounge where patrons can relax and listen to laidback/cocktail jazz. Recently we initiated various societies such as the Villa Pascal Opera Club, Durbanville Folk Music Society, Villa Pascal Ladies Club, Villa Pascal Social Club, which have become an excellent opportunity for business networking, branding of products and meeting people.
