Jamie Jupiter, ex-member of the Honeymoon suites is a profound and prolific songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. His blues harmonica playing sizzles to the roots of your being. He also manages to combine a tasty assortment of African instruments with guitar in a fusion of bluesy, folky- afro-jazzy yum which will warm your heart and feed your soul. Jamie likes to keep things interesting yet accessible. His sublime and quirky poetic lyrics are a treat of humour, romance and philosophy which grip audiences in awe struck fascination. Jamie’s musical palette comes from a wide range of experiences from jamming the blues, strumming the folk circuit, glamming it up with the Honeymoon Suites, peforming in avante garde musical theatre to facilitating drum circles of up to 800 people. Jamie has recorded a number of his songs on his CD “A Brighter Life” – an uplifting selection of songs showcasing the many styles of Jamie Jupiter. Songs such as “Mama Yea!” and “The Blue” have recieved constant radioplay on some South African stations. What he’ll do next we’ll never know. What we do know is that his music is bound to make you feel alive.
