An abductive approach to mycotoxin diagnosis

Abstract :

Discusses three types of abductive approaches to expert systems and assesses their applicability to the domain of mycotoxin identification. A prototypical expert system, called Myc, has been developed to demonstrate the viability of the parsimonious covering theory within this domain. Some problems with the current implementation are discussed.
