An analysis of the role and functions of an occupational health nurse in South Africa

Abstract :

Questions framed for the research project were designed to see how far the occupational health nurse of today has progressed along the road to complete integration in the community health care of the worker, and whether she is equipped to deal with him as a member of the larger community, and not just as a worker at work. A wide variety of industries were included in this survey.
