Abstract :

The Alpha Clinic is an erection dysfunction that provides a unique service exchange to men suffering from erection dysfunction. The success of the service process has prompted the management of the organisation to consider the growth path of the clinic in terms of continued service quality and ongoing profitability. The medical director has been investigating that area of the service process that is fundamental to the profitability of the clinic and has been focusing on the concept of retention of patients as a key to maintain and improve profitability. The case study emphasises the value of a standardised service process and the economic value of the lifetime patient customer.
